Job Overview - Senior Treasury Analyst (Liquidity Finance):
Become a Senior Treasury Analyst with our client in New York, NY, where you’ll evaluate capital and liquidity positions, build forecasting models, and assess the impact of market changes. In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with teams to ensure accurate reporting and provide insights on market stress events.
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
Responsibilities as the Senior Treasury Analyst:
- Forecasting: Quantify and analyze capital and liquidity positions, forecast future impacts, and present to key stakeholders.
- Projects: Lead and participate in automation projects to improve forecast accuracy and analyze market stress impacts.
- Collaboration: Work with Traders, Principal Investments, and Risk teams to project capital movements and ensure accurate cash movement reflection in financial records.
- Treasury: Support Treasury tasks, including funding, liquidity, FX, and cash management.
- Support: Help business and support functions understand the impact of Treasury policies, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
Qualifications for the Senior Treasury Analyst:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Treasury/Liquidity Financing, Market Risk, or Investment Banking.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in commodities, banking (commodities/PE finance), or private equity is highly preferred.
- Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency with experience automating workflows, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Knowledge: Specialized knowledge in derivative and commodity markets, with strong research and documentation skills.
