As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving financial strategy, overseeing a team of dedicated analysts, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Participate in leading the development and implementation of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning.
Team Oversight:
- Supervise and mentor a team consisting of 1 Senior Financial Analyst and 1 Financial Analyst.
- Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development.
- Review and approve financial analyses, reports, and models prepared by the team members.
Data Analytics:
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in financial data.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize financial processes and enhance overall business efficiency.
Curiosity and Strategic Insight:
- Exhibit a natural curiosity about financial data, always striving to understand the 'why' behind the numbers, not just the 'what.'
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in finance, incorporating innovative approaches into the company’s financial strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive finance experience, with a focus on FP&A and data analytics.
- Strong leadership skills ready to take the next step into management.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
