Role Overview:
The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for improving processes and workflows within a specialized area. The role leverages industry expertise to drive business and operational objectives, addressing moderately complex issues with significant impact. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are critical, as the role involves coaching new team members and influencing key decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and business support for Citi applications, ensuring system stability, efficiency, and timely resolution of issues.
- Manage and maintain applications during daily operations, meeting service level expectations.
- Conduct daily checks, continuous monitoring, and risk reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Assess risk, escalate issues, and ensure proper functioning of storage and archiving procedures.
- Lead application releases from testing through deployment, followed by post-implementation reviews.
- Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve bugs and support tool requirements.
- Act as a liaison between users, internal technology teams, and vendors.
- Address problems within Service Level Agreements and provide guidance to new analysts.
- Lead support projects focused on improving system stability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Exercise independent judgment, evaluate risks, and ensure compliance with Citigroup policies and regulations.

- Monitoring Tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana
- Ticketing Systems: Jira, ServiceNow
- Version Control: Git, Bitbucket, GitLab
- Databases: SQL, Oracle, MySQL
- Scripting Languages: Bash, Python, PowerShell
- Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, Unix
- Automation Tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet
- Deployment Tools: IBM UrbanCode Deploy (uDeploy), Octopus Deploy, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeDeploy
- Container Platforms: Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes
- Log Management: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in application support.
- Experience with installing, configuring, and supporting business applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages and issue-tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage workloads efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
