This role will handle all aspects relating to the cost accounting and controlling of one manufacturing facility in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. This includes ensuring accurate recording of costs, monitoring of material cost spend and production costing, as well as related analysis and reporting, in accordance with all the applicable procedures and laws.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible for accurate recording, reporting, analysis and review of plant manufacturing costs and key performance measurements, in compliance with group and statutory regulations and of factory financial performance by product groups.
- Developing and maintaining annual overhead rates and standard material cost that minimize operational variances, ensuring accurate periodical reporting of such overheads per product groups & review and analysis of Purchase Price Variances, Invoice Price Variances.
- Responsible for accurate reporting of inventory for both Financials (correct valuation of RAW, WIP and FG, including inventory provisions such as Warranty, Excess and Obsolete reserve assessment and recording), as well as inventory planning in the POR and budget in cooperation with the rest of the factory functions involved in the process (Operations, Procurement, Planning etc.).
- Prioritize, lead and coordinate the annual stock count from a financial standpoint.
- Conducting analysis of any deviations in actuals from original plans (sales, materials, other costs).
- Conducting efficiency analysis and product cost calculations (standard, ongoing), product mix & price, verifying direct production costs, indirect costs and prices.
- Owning the cost management system and ensuring its continuous improvement through collaborating with operational departments in order to ensure control and optimization of costs.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Relevant university degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, in a manufacturing environment;
- Very good knowledge of operational costing;
- Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of HFM & Oracle is an advantage;
- Very good level of English language skills.
