As a Senior Accountant, you’ll perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. You’ll analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the organization.
About the Role
- Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy and compliance for more complex areas/businesses.
- Reconcile accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
- Collect, compile, verify and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements.
- Prepare reports that project the organization's financial position for more complex areas/businesses.
- Initial focus on lease accounting which includes coordination with accounts payable team, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, variance analysis.
About You
- 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
