Position Summary: Given the dynamic nature of transfer and articulation in the State of Ohio, the heightened emphasis on accountability and accreditation, and the importance of the College’s curriculum to support the mission of the institution, this position exists to manage key processes described below.
The salary for this position starts at $68,778 and is determined commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities
- Manage the role of Director of Curriculum in the Curriculum Management Tool (CMT) to review and approve new courses and programs, course and program revisions, and course and program deactivations.
- Present curricular changes to Provost Council for approval in the form of an e-review and respond to all inquiries.
- Work closely with department chairs, Registration & Students Records, and Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) on matters related to Sinclair’s curriculum.
- Serve as instructional liaison to Publications/Marketing to ensure complete and accurate display of college curriculum on www.sinclair.edu.
- Produce college catalog.
- Serve as representative on Sinclair Honors Council.
- Serve as representative on Sinclair Assessment Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
Transfer and Articulation
- Collaborate with other institutions to facilitate equivalency identification by providing Sinclair syllabi as requested.
- Provide leadership for the creation of Sinclair’s articulation agreements. Work with higher education institutions and other organizations to develop and update agreements.
- Recommend strategies/tactics to the Assistant Provost to increase or facilitate the transfer of Sinclair students to other institutions.
- Serve as Sinclair’s representative on the Transfer and Articulation Advisory Council of SOCHE.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compliance
- Ensure that the college curriculum follows the guidelines set forth by the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s Program Approval.
- Ensure that as a college we are adhering to all transfer policies set forth in the Ohio Department of Higher Education Articulation and Transfer Policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
ODHE Initiatives
- Ensure completion of online surveys related to learning outcomes for Ohio Transfer 36, Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGS), Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGS), Advanced Placement (AP) Exams, Industry Recognized Credentials (ITAGs), etc. to meet ODHE deadlines.
- Submit additions/revisions/deletions to Ohio Transfer 36, Transfer Assurance Guides (TAGS), Career Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGS), Industry Recognized Credentials (ITAGs), Advanced Placement (AP), Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTPs) through ODHE’s Course Equivalency Management Systems (CEMS) to meet ODHE deadlines.
- Represent Sinclair on ODHE workgroups as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
System and Technical Support
- Perform maintenance on Transferology by updating links/URLs, courses bank entries, degree programs and send flat file of equivalencies on a regular basis.
- Perform administrative functions in CMT by adding courses that are offered for proficiency exam and courses offered online as identified by eLearn.
- Serve as campus expert for Sinclair’s Curriculum Management Tool (CMT) and award access to the appropriate individuals on campus.
Requirements
- Minimum of a master’s degree in a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field required.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred.
- Experience with Curriculum Management Tool (CMT) for curriculum planning and tracking required.
- Strong web expertise, including knowledge of web development, design, and content management preferred.
- Demonstrated success at accurate, timely work required.
- High level of interpersonal skills, both oral and written required.
