Job Description:
Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of accurate, sustainable and timely risk reporting and governance. Enhance and manage risk appetite, key risk indicators, key performance indicators, and develops a standard repeatable reporting strategy to monitor, report, and escalate risk performance. Enhances and manages risk and governance programs. Ensures the accuracy and reliability of data and information within the risk reporting framework.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Responsibilities:
- Leads, enhances and manages the compilation of reporting and communications for risk and governance programs. Delivers the reports to leadership and Committee/Board reporting.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of key performance and risk indicators and standard reports to assist with managing risk. Partners with the business to develop action plans to remediate issues.
- Manages a team including recruiting, coaching, counseling, performance, and compensation decisions.
- Manages risk governance programs and projects and leads risk reporting strategies.
- Ensures adherence to Corporate Risk reporting requirements. Provides information to enable first lines of defense to proactively monitor and assess current and emerging risks, performance, and develops an escalation guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Management, Law, Information Technology, Analytics or related field.
- 8+ Years of experience of Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Modeling, Statistics, Reporting or related including people management.
- In lieu of Education 12+ Years of Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Modeling, Statistics, Reporting or related including people management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ year of experience Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Modeling, Statistics, Reporting or related including people management.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
