The Role
The Sr Analyst, FP&A – Corporate Finance will be a key member of the corporate finance team and provide support for our Corporate Finance functions, which include global revenues and expenses, global fund management, brand fund management, loyalty, and partnerships. This role will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, with their findings communicated to various levels of Finance management. This individual will partner with various team members within the FP&A function to ensure there is diligent revenue and expense management and that risks & opportunities are highlighted and planned for accordingly. This will be a critical role in the month-end close and forecast process, as well as annual budget and long-term strategic planning processes. This position will take direction from the Director, Corporate Finance to work on projects that achieve identified department goals which in turn align to the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts corporate goals.
What you'll do
- Prepare and consolidate monthly detailed fund reporting.
- Prepare and analyze the monthly variances and internal operating statistic reporting schedules.
- Ownership of the brand level fund reporting, to allow increased visibility and effective governance of the brand funds.
- Prepare, analyze, and own the monthly cost per point reporting and main drivers underlying each partnership.
- Assist in the analysis of the redemption curves and costs per point projections on the P&L.
- Support the quarterly earnings process through the preparation of reporting and commentary around past performance and significant variances to prior periods.
- Assist with the preparation and validation of quarterly earnings call scripts and Q&A preparation for senior management.
- Develop a strong understanding of group processes and procedures and assist with process documentation.
- Prepare competitive comparison reports which requires reviewing and assessing competitors’ disclosures.
- Assist with preparing ad hoc reports and analysis on an as-needed basis (compensation, corporate revenue, costs, etc).

Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 2-5 years of experience in Accounting or FP&A.
- Business degree or MBA a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Planning & Essbase financial systems, a plus.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
