Develops unique cyber indicators to maintain constant awareness of the status of the highly dynamic operating environment. Collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates cyber warning assessments.
Key Skills & Experience
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience as a Threat/Warning Analyst (TWA) or technical intelligence analyst in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Experience in aiding in collection and initial processing of threat- and vulnerability-related information from multiple sources.
- Experience supporting classified and open-source research identifying cybersecurity threats to NSA infrastructure, data, and systems.
- Experience assisting in developing cyber indicators and signatures derived from gathered information.
- Experience in aiding in report and summary development.
- Ability to communicate written and verbal information in a timely, clear, and concise manner.
Education, Certifications, & Credentials
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, or Engineering related field. DoD 8570 compliance with CSSP Analyst baseline certification, Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification.
- Computing Environment (CE) certification. The CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS, Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications.
- Q clearance required.
- Candidates with TS/SCI can be transferred to Q clearance easily.
