Job Summary:
Responsible for performing a variety of Accounting duties in the Corporate Accounting Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles month end trial balance reconciliations
- Handles daily cash for two companies
- Provides support in preparing material for audits for both DCAA and external auditors.
- Assists in year-end incurred cost submissions and indirect rate calculators.
- Performs various financial analysis and reporting activities.
- Assists with documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Supervises Accountant, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable positions.
Educational/Training Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Accounting with an emphasis in government contracting
- Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must possess good analytical skills.
- Must have at least five years supervisory experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills required.
- Data Gathering, Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Reporting.
