Job Title Tax Analyst

General Role Description
Provide tax analysis services to a multi-business unit, multi-entity, multi-currency driven global business.
Role Accountabilities
- Provide data to external service provider to ensure accurate and timely filings of all foreign direct and indirect taxes, including income tax, GST, and VAT.
- Calculate and prepare quarterly tax estimates for Federal and State Tax filings.
- Prepare multi-state sales tax and property tax.
- Maintain Tax Fixed Asset Listing and calculate tax depreciation as needed.
- Reconcile and analyze all tax related general ledger accounts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Provide accurate estimates of tax expense for project proposals in foreign countries.
- Coordinate with appropriate business unit personnel to ensure accurate and timely forecasted project tax.
- Prepare state and Foreign FIN48 calculations for the corporate tax provision annually.
- Collect and provide data for the tax equalization policy and coordinate with the relevant employees and payroll administrator and associated tasks, such as gross-up.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
- 3 years of tax related experience.
- Total of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance at a professional level.
- Working knowledge of ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes.
- Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in financial module of ERP system.
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts.
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility.
- Availability to travel, less than 5%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a business with foreign ownership, preferably Japanese.
- Experience in a business which measures results principally by project and by levels of overall support costs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial aspects of foreign affiliates and related accounting processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of foreign taxes with regard to business operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation and regulatory guidelines and their impact on business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and project impact of multi-currency, multi-entity transactions on projects and G/L accounts.
- Proficiency in financial module of Oracle ERP system.
- Demonstrated project costing experience.
- International operations experience.
- CPA.
