General Summary
The Project Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and supports the group in accounting.

Essential Duties

- Review and process consultant invoices.
- Resolve outstanding issues with vendors/consultants.
- Process selection of payments for consultants and vendors.
- Review and process billing invoices, addressing any discrepancies.
- Generate field reports.
- Complete project setup.
- Review and correct project budgets and set up for accurate revenue generation.
- Assist the Project Manager and other team members as needed.
- Provide help on special tasks requested of the department and requests from the field.
- Process contracts for consultants and clients.
- Prepare deposits and process cash receipts.
- Provide support for all accounting managers as needed.
- Close project/tasks after completion for revenue earnings.
- Maintain accounts receivable to prevent aging.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with Deltek Vision software.
