Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid position that will allow you to balance working from our state-of-the-art offices and the comfort of your own home. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our financial planning and analysis team, responsible for budgeting and forecasting, ad hoc analysis, financial modeling, and understanding corporate financials. This role will require a deep understanding of data mining and advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and Excel modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into financial performance.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support management in strategic planning and performance tracking.
- Analyze and interpret corporate financials, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
- Utilize data mining techniques to extract, analyze, and report financial data.
- Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate data, build complex formulas, and create Excel models.
- Provide accounting support, including understanding and managing the general ledger, and preparing and analyzing profit and loss statements.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to assess financial implications and support strategic planning.
- Effectively use the company's ERP system, specifically Dynamics Great Plains, to extract data, generate reports, and support financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An advanced degree or certification such as MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including experience with budgeting and forecasting, ad hoc analysis, and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of corporate financials.
- Proficiency in data mining.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas and Excel modeling.
- Solid accounting knowledge, including experience with general ledger and profit and loss statements.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain is a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics Great Plains.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels and departments.
