This role requires a dedicated legal professional with a solid commercial real estate law background, including transactional experience. Duties
- Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and lending.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Provide legal counsel on zoning, land use, and development issues.
- Conduct due diligence and legal research to support real estate transactions and development projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other legal professionals to address real estate legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to real estate law.
- Manage caseloads efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate law within a law firm setting.
- Transactional experience in commercial real estate law, including real estate transactions, leasing, lending, development, and zoning.
- Active law license in Missouri, Illinois, and Ohio is required.
- Demonstrated superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
