Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services. Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation is responsible for designing, building, and operating our unified global datacenters, managing the supply planning and capacity utilization of our unified infrastructure, and is responsible for all of the operations needed to run the physical infrastructure (including supply chain, hardware, power, security, and workflow teams).
The Data Center Demand and Strategic planning (DDSP) organization is seeking a Business Analyst to help drive world-class processes, data quality, and fidelity in DC demand creation, publication, and communication to cross-organization stakeholders and leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring on-time high-quality Demand forecasting deliverables and effective communication through process creation, data analysis, and integration with CO+I process.
This critically vital role requires an individual who can expertly drive execution excellence, compliance, and business enablement using deep data insights and processes to improve Demand forecasting. Responsibilities include developing and improving processes for DDSP operations, collaborating with stakeholders across functions and metrics, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and implementing and monitoring risk control measures. This role requires extensive cross-group coordination, agile workload management, analytical approach, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to engage globally.

- This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, or Phoenix, AZ.
- Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
- This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%.
Responsibilities- Support the development of scalable operating processes that deliver a consistent and excellent experience for our Demand creation, partners, and field stakeholders.
- Compile comprehensive and accurate SLT facing reports on a timely basis.
- Support day-to-day operations with ad-hoc analysis.
- Support demand planning in S&OP and Executive S&OP.
- Build and manage key relationships needed for demand planning. Drive collaboration and alignment on plans; cross-functional relationships.
- Guide business leaders with confidence in your analytics and reporting to ensure smooth execution.
- Summarize and clearly communicate data analysis assumptions and results.
- Execute processes in a compliant manner with a focus on reducing cycle time, improving planning forecast, analyzing root causes, and driving change management.
- Develop road mapping of Data science and business workstreams to ensure Microsoft is poised for long-term success.
- Improve process maturity by aligning and optimizing processes across lines of business, and prioritizing engineering, data science, process, and policy opportunities.
- Leverage subject matter expertise and stakeholders to assess demand trends and workstream trends to develop early insights and callouts.
- Represent the voice of the DC Demand across multiple groups within Microsoft using various listening mechanisms to capture feedback and growth opportunities and use them to influence DDSP roadmaps.
- Establish a global network and be a trusted advisor for Demand creation and managing escalations globally.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to everything we do, using data and business insights to improve Partner Experiences, partner transactional Quality, tools, and communications modes.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
- OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field.
- OR equivalent experience.

Business Analytics IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
