POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Security contractor will work as a program management support person, supporting the client at the U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility-Japan regional Maintenance Center Yokosuka, Japan. The Security Program Analyst will provide direct support to the Executive Administrative Security Division of all U.S. Civil Service, Contractors, U.S. Military, and Master Labor Contract (MLC) personnel incoming and outgoing.
Support client in the planning, coordinating, and execution of the cost, schedule, and performance aspects of numerous contractor applicants who require a valid government credential by ensuring the contractor has a valid National Agency Check Inquiry (NACI), National Agency Check, Local Agency Check, and Local Credit Check (NACLC) investigation at a minimum in accordance with Department of Defense (DOD) Instruction 8500.2. Support the management of numerous visitor requests for access to U.S. Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan, including performing a review of all contractor packages requiring access to installation. Support the management of the day-to-day operations of the electronic security badge system, to include the Automated Access Control System (AACS) and the Command Badge System. Determines if the contractor is properly vetted by the government contract awarding agency. Assist the Assistant Security Officer (ASO) with in-processing and out-processing of all personnel within SRF-JRMC, Yokosuka, Japan. Support efforts for legacy and future systems, as well as technical refreshes/upgrades. This position will provide ongoing management, analytical, security, and administrative support to include, but not limited to, such documentation as the SECNAV M-5510.36 security policy, program management reviews, Security Program Baselines. Answer all calls when ASO and Command Security Director (CSD) are not available.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Contractor personnel shall possess the necessary knowledge and skills necessary to carry out all assigned duties. Personnel shall have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in instructional systems design or curriculum development.
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status.
- Certified in accordance with U.S. national standards and established protocols to perform EMD services to callers with medical emergencies.
- Contractor is required to be trained as a Tele communicator, certified in CPR, and Emergency Medical Dispatch.
- Must have a Secret Clearance at a minimum for this position.
