We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to be part of our exciting Finance team focused mostly on accounting perspectives. This translates to the production and distribution of timely, accurate, and relevant reporting and analysis to internal management and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Produce the quarterly and annual consolidation of financial statements for the companies and ensure the financial reports complied with accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Assist Finance Manager to establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
- Proactively identify integration areas for improvement and take these opportunities to collaborate in designing solutions and updating our toolset and processes.
- Building and cultivating relationships with integration stakeholders (Product, Tech, Data etc.) regarding ongoing products, revenue flow for financial reporting purposes including data extraction, receivables reconciliation, and collection report.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, payroll reconciliation, and information related to supplies and inventory.
- Perform VAT/GST/FCWT returns for companies within the group.
- Provide ad hoc country or regional indirect/direct tax advice to the sales, purchases, accounts payable, credit, and operations departments.
- Liaise with the tax agent to review local corporate tax returns and related work papers.
- Other tasks delegated by the Finance Manager/Director.
Requirements
- Experienced with consolidation process and multi-international organization.
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA) is a plus.
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation especially Singapore Accounting Standard and familiar with IRAS.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong math and research skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Can-do attitude.
