Accounts Payable Supervisor and General Accountant
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee all aspects of accounts payable at LetsGetChecked. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality. This role requires a strong understanding of accounts payable functions within SAP 4HANA ERP system, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This role will be a hybrid position in our Dublin office.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing, including data input and payment to vendors and reconciliation of accounts payable balances for month end reporting.
- Lead accounts payable team and ensure team members are fully trained and their skills are continuously developed.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Prepare and submit accounts payable reports and documentation as required.
- Collaborate with a range of teams to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including vendor information, vendor bank details and other relevant data.
- Prepare and submit 1099 reporting for US vendors in line with local, state and federal requirements.
- Manage the creation of service purchase orders ensuring correct creation of purchase orders and receipting of purchase orders.
- Collaborate in month end Operating Expense review and reporting, analysing actual month end operating expenses versus budget.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to accounts payable, vendor positions and cashflow positions.
- Collaborate with the finance teams to provide support and information as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in accounts payable and general accounting operations.
- Implement best practices and technology solutions to enhance month end reporting.
- Perform other ad-hoc accountancy tasks as required by the finance team.
What we are looking for…..
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and experience in a high functioning finance team / environment.
- Proven experience as in Accounts Payable or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, month end accounting and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
