Business Analyst – Accounting :: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Location: Raleigh, NC Hybrid
- Must have skills: Overall 10 to 15 years of experience.
- Certified Public Accountant with domain experience either in mortgage, banking, or finance domain.
- Need to have Business Analyst skills as well.
Job Description:
- Business analysis work.
- Must have extensive knowledge in Accounting Background and a CPA from the US is a plus.
- (Must Have) Should have worked in IT development projects.
- Independently work with client’s cross-functional team for business requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design.
- (Must Have) Review user business processes and use cases, create workflows, and functional design during SDLC.
- (Must Have) Provide guidance and direction to the delivery team during the software development.
- This could be in terms of functionality, system integrations, user interface, user experience, best-in-class practices, KPIs, review demos, etc.
- (Must Have) Work with the customer (business users) in preparing User Acceptance Test cases and assist in the UAT.
- (Must Have) Travelled to the US and having a valid B1 Visa is a plus.
- Experience: 12 to 15 years of overall work experience, out of which 10+ years in IT Solutions/Services industry with Accounting knowledge in Business Analysis area. At least 3 years in software development.
- Industry consulting experience is a plus.
- Experience in customizing enterprise applications for Insurance Domain and good knowledge of following domain areas: US Mortgage Insurance Servicing. Experience in handling projects with Onsite Discovery / Requirements Gathering, Analysis, and Functional Design.
- Good understanding of Agile and iterative approaches for software development.
