- Risk Management: Coordinating with Management and Project Controls, and providing the financial approach of Risk Mitigation.
- Financial Operations: oversees day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inter-companies invoicing and coordination, and treasury functions. Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, financial systems and processes are efficient, and internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets. Main point of contact with finance organizations (banks, investors, 3rd party accountants, etc…)
- Stakeholder Management: interact with various stakeholders, including executives, board members, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Communicate financial results, provide financial guidance, and address stakeholders' concerns. Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and coordinate external audits.
- Team Leadership: in line with the growth of the company, develop, lead, and manage a small finance and accounting team, providing guidance, mentoring, and supervision to ensure efficient operations and professional development. Set performance targets, establish financial policies and procedures, and foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience of at least 15-20 years in finance and accounting roles, with progressive
levels of responsibility. Experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
- Experience in UAE / Middle east
- Experience in Energies Industry,
- Experience on PMC or EPC projects.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial management.
Should have knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles - GAAP), financial analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and risk
management.
Skills Requirements
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Familiar with accounting software systems, financial modelling tools, data analysis tools, and
enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and preferably with implementation thereof.
- Able to work independently in full autonomy, to propose solutions proactively and to drive
with agility his business unit to success.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to set strategic goals, manage
budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
