Project Controller
The Wärtsilä Energy Business – North Region team has a vacancy for a Project Controller.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for supporting project manager and project organisation as integrator and facilitator in project planning, monitoring and controlling.
- Accountable for preparing project reports and for notifying project risks based on the project requirements, contract or other available information.
- Accountable for compiling the project plan with support from project organisation.
- Accountable for demonstrating the compliance with Company Project Management Methodology and Business Directives.
- Manage project activities in project planning, monitor, controlling and reporting according to contract/requirements together with external stakeholders and internal team members.
- Participate in customer/stakeholder negotiations when needed and maintain good customer/stakeholder relationships.
- Act as stand in for Project Manager when needed.
- Secure Internal Business Process Framework utilisation in the projects.
Development Responsibilities:
- Participate in development and improvement of project management processes, methodology, tools and competence development, together with Development Manager, PMO.
- Collect Best Practises for subsequent organizational use.
- Develop continuously working efficiency together with line organization and PMO.
Desired Education:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in applicable field (engineering or economics)
