Position Overview:
Solid Power is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our talented team of engineers and scientists working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next‐generation, all solid‐state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast‐paced, collaborative, and innovative team environment. The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management of the company's treasury functions, including cash management, financial analysis, banking relationships, and risk assessment. This role involves working closely with finance, accounting, and other departments to optimize the company’s capital structure and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Job Duties:
- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flows, and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Investment Management: Analyze and recommend investment strategies to optimize returns while managing risk; liaise with investment managers or financial institutions as necessary.
- Banking Relationships: Assist in managing bank relationships; analyze product offerings and strategic fit, and support negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, assess exposures, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risks.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing treasury activities, liquidity positions, and investment performance.
- Policy Development: Assist in helping develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive financial planning and analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies related to treasury operations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in treasury or banking.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule (about 2 to 3 days a week at our Thornton office).

Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000/annually
