As a Senior Principal Analyst, you will provide technical leadership on complex projects to deliver significant value to Customers. You will oversee extension development and deliver high-quality technical solutions in a leading commercial cloud platform. A critical initiative is to implement best practices for integration and support integration testing between Manhattan products and Customer systems. You will drive identification and resolution of technical problems from Design through Go Live. 15-20% travel to Customer locations is typical but can be higher during peak periods.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, client-specific enhancements in a timely manner.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise throughout a customer implementation.
- Primary activities include enhancement development, testing, issues resolution, implementation, and post-implementation support. Any of these activities may require onsite support.
- Participates in training to enhance skills necessary to be a valuable team member.
- Assists with practice administrative tasks (time and forecast entry).
Preferred Skills
- Independent, fast learner, excited about learning latest technologies.
- Experience with building and supporting cloud-based microservices, event-based systems.
- Experience with application performance engineering and tuning.
- Experience with supply chain and retail domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of software development or support experience in Java-based applications deployed on J2EE application servers.
- 4 years of SQL development experience in Oracle or MySQL RDBMS.
