ProMach's Brenton division is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst. This position partners and gives guidance to Operational Managers and Leaders through forecasting, budget and actual financial analysis and reporting while ensuring timely and accurate financials for Brenton and ProMach leadership team. This position reports to the Controller and is located in our Alexandria, MN facility.

- Prepare, analyze, offer recommendations and distribute project financials, department reviews and internal financial statements weekly.
- Complete financial projections weekly comparing to the current month trend and forecast; highlight key wins and opportunities for Brenton leadership team.
- Partner with the Finance/Accounting team and Project Managers on orders, changes and shipments to ensure necessary updates are captured in the ERP system.
- Key contributor to the monthly project forecast reporting and review.
- Communicate with AR Manager and Accounting Manager to ensure a smooth cutoff at month-end and year-end.
- Owner of key operational accruals, including research and development, warranty, after shipment impacts, freight and subcontractors.
- Analyze and prepare other month-end Journal Entries along with being a key contributor and driver in determining ways to shorten the month-end timeline.
- Take ownership of account reconciliation process to ensure alignment to subledger support.
- Prepare and distribute monthly reporting aligning to business partners requirements.
- Participate in audits & compliance reporting.
- Partner with the Controller, GM and other key leaders on the 3-year strategy.
- Draft the monthly forecast and annual budget by meeting and discussing assumptions with department leaders, current capacity, estimated bookings, project material and labor forecasts and aftermarket impacts.
- Be open to revisions and discussions on the budget based on Controller, GM and ProMach reviews.
- Gain a strong understanding of reporting, systems and current Brenton and ProMach processes to continue developing streamline approaches and potential gaps to help strengthen process.
- Support the Brenton Operational team and Leadership team.
- Learn and leverage new reporting tools such as Spotlight, Smartsheets, Planful and Tableau.
- Document and follow procedures as written, always looking for better, more cost-effective solutions for the Accounting/Finance team and our partners.

- Overall knowledge of Journal Entries and General Ledger reconciliations
- Experience and strong skills in Excel and fully integrated ERP systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Five+ years of financial reporting experience
- Team player attitude is essential
- Trustworthy with strong work ethic

- Ability to work with minimal direction – independent discretion judgment
- Organized and regimented attention to detail required
