Scope:

Partner with managed sites to provide Human Resources support.
Facilitate Human Resources projects and utilize internal resources to execute.
Ensure employee-related compliance.
Consult with leadership related to people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit as needed per site requirements:
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and make job offers.
- Ensure new hire paperwork and other setup requirements are done in a timely manner.
Partner with leadership to ensure effective new hire onboarding program:
- Adjust programming as needed.
Work with on-site HR representative to manage benefit programs.
Integrate HRIS programming into day-to-day operations.
Use a project management approach to onboarding and offboarding managed sites.
Ensure safety-related compliance.
Partner with on-site leaders to create knowledge and process around submission of required reports.
Partner with leaders across the organization to develop and coach their employees:
- Lead People meetings.
- Use progressive discipline practices to effectively communicate expectations.
- Follow federal and state employment laws in dealing with discipline, unemployment, and all other employment-related issues.
With on-site leaders, create metrics to monitor important employee KPIs.
Provide HRIS troubleshooting and assistance to employees as needed.
Travel to sites as needed.
Provide project support to the Knute Nelson HR team as needed.

Education and Experience Required:

Four-year college degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience.
Two years Human Resources experience, preferably as a Generalist.
Customer Service experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Able to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff.
Demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
Required to have the ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
