PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As program owner, assess and evaluate the effectiveness of third-party vendor risk program.
- Perform an in-depth risk analysis of proposed vendor relationships and ensure risk mitigation.
- Leverage a risk-based approach to ensure appropriate security principles and controls are applied, discover gaps, propose and/or approve remediation, and communicate residual risk to business units and management.
- Perform continual monitoring of the cyber health for active vendor solutions, address concerns and risks.
- Coordinate vendor management related procedures with business support analysts and business partners.
- Document and maintain policies, procedures, and security best practices as related to third-party risk management.
- Prepare and deliver management level presentations to communicate trends and threats to the organization.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and reporting of InfoSec metrics.
- Understand information security program best practices to ensure protection of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer and corporate data is in line with the enterprise risk appetite.
- This position is hybrid and will have an onsite requirement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Systems, or related discipline and 3+ years of direct experience; relevant/specialized training and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Working knowledge of the NIST 800-53 (National Institute of Standards & Technology) Controls.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, proven technical abilities and strong computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ certification preferred or related experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary for this position is $100,000 – $118,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
