We are currently seeking an accounts payable manager responsible for managing the company accounts payable process and function in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
As a Sr. AR Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and allocating customer payments in the order entry and accounting system.
- Processing refunds and withholding tax forms.
- Following up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
- Assisting with bank reconciliations.
- Ensuring that all documentation is retrieved on sales orders to comply with revenue recognition standards.
- Implementing technology and processes to maintain or improve existing AR metrics.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate Accounts Receivable, disputes, and reconciliations preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting and SOX controls, preferably in a multinational public company.
- Substantial understanding of the Accounts Receivable function is required, with an ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Ability to perform detailed reconciliations/analysis to resolve outstanding issues promptly.
- Excellent customer service and business partnership skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate issues quickly and concisely to management.
- High proficiency with Excel.
- Responsible for reconciling accounts with a large volume of transactions within credit limit, escalating internally and externally as needed.
- Responsible for data analysis and reporting on metrics, trends, and collection results.
- Resolve outstanding invoices on past due accounts.
- Responsible for research, reconcile customer payments; process refunds.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
- Support and back up other team members as needed.
- Prepare credit analysis on potential customers and make credit recommendations in accordance with policy.
- Release orders based on credit availability and risk.
- Prepare outstanding accounts statements and gather reference documentation to identify issues.
- Respond to inquiries from customers, internal and external, via email and phone, and follow up when necessary.
