Senior FP&A Analyst

Your Tasks:
In this role you will play a critical role in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and provide business recommendations and insights to senior leadership. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and align annual budgets with business objectives.
- Lead the financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across our North American entities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers.
- Generate monthly/quarterly reporting actual vs budget working directly with cost center managers to provide visibility to unfavorable variances.
- Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, providing insights to support decision making processes. Help identify growth opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior leaders.
- Ad-hoc business performance reporting and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, MBA preferred; 3+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 additional years’ experience in an accounting or finance role; or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and revenue analysis.
- MS Power BI.
- Experience with financial planning software including advanced MS Excel (Planning Maestro, Tagetik are a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
