A South Bay startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their team. In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for technical accounting around equity, financial reporting, assisting with month-end, and supporting SEC reporting. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to be organized, a problem-solver, and detail-oriented.
What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-6 years of public accounting experience
- Active CPA
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with technical accounting and accounting standards
What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?
- Equity compensation management
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations around stock pay
- Assist with the yearly financial statement audit
- Assist with SEC reporting
- Assist with SOX testing and internal controls
- Management analysis
- Support special projects as they come up
