Soni's client is a well-established Law Firm that is looking to add a Controller to their team. The right candidate must have communication, analytical, technical, and management skills. The candidate must have at least ten years of related experience. CPA is preferred. Law firm experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Directing accounting operations that include banking relationships, cash funding, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, trust accounts, pension plans, partner accounting, annual audits, etc.
- Oversee and review internal and external financial statements
- Manage partner draws, distributions, and retirement plan contributions
- Manage pension plans, responsible for annual pension audit and Form 5500
- Control expenses and work with vendors when issues arise
Requirements:
- Law Firm Experience
- 7+ years of Accounting and Finance experience
- Excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Skills:
Compensation: $150,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
