Senior CADD/BIM Specialist (Water) - (181485)

Responsibilities
- Perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques.
- Perform Redline corrections and develop design drawings from initial sketches.
- Take responsibility for drawing layout.
- Work independently with occasional advice from your supervisor.
- Direct efforts of less-experienced BIM Technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing or mentoring CADD/design professionals.
- Civil drafting background with underground utility experience.
- Experience utilizing BIM design.
- Facility (structural, piping and mechanical) experience.
- Prior engineering CAD related project experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and construction documents and technical knowledge.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience developing BIM layouts/designs from engineering designs.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, C3D, and Revit.
- Ability to be a lead technician and work closely with Jr - CADD Staff.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and applicable design software and concepts.
- Ability to mentor and lead less experienced CADD/BIM design Staff.
- Ability to learn and become familiar with structure and components of project design.
- Ability to work independently under the general direction of a lead or supervisor.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and adhere to quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to professionally interact and work collaboratively in a team environment.
