Overall Scope of Role
The Senior Accountant will support the Pro Sports & Experiences Accounting operations of the company. Duties include assisting with accounts receivables, creating journal entries for recurring transactions, and performing month end account reconciliations in compliance with financial policies and procedures, including relevant internal control documentation/SOX compliance. This position fulfills an integral transactional and reporting function in the Pro Sports & Experience Accounting group. The position reports to the Pro Sports & Experiences Manager, Revenue Operations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording varying transaction data.
- Reconcile and prepare daily payment processor transactions.
- Assist with preparing and posting journal entries related to cash, revenue, COGS, and accounts receivable.
- Perform GL account reconciliations.
- Perform routine accounting tasks in line with departmental and operational deadlines.
- Audit all work to ensure accuracy.
- Respond to various ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain all records and files in an organized manner.

Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- A foundation in Excel and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Detail oriented with the ability to investigate and resolve issues.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills – strong planning skills, ability to work as part of a dynamic team and communicate effectively.
- Ability to multitask and perform in fast paced environment.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in an expanding organization.
- Continually strive for self-development and discovering better means of accomplishing both personal and professional goals.
- Will be expected to work periodically on weekends or evenings, as needed.
