The Lumen Internship
Lumen offers a fully immersive, 10-week summer internship program. Our interns demonstrate curiosity, innovation, and a passion for advancing technology. Program dates: May 30 – August 8, 2025.
Work Location: This position is fully remote/work from home.
The Main Responsibilities
Lumen’s Business Operations organization is looking for a Business Analyst Intern for the summer of 2025. The main responsibilities of the intern role include supporting the development of the 2026 Acceleration & Growth Team plan. This involves building out the strategy and plan by reviewing artifacts from the 2025 planning process. The intern will work across integrated teams, including finance, HR, revenue operations, business operations, and programs, to create a multi-track plan. They will also develop communications, organize planning meetings, and compile a comprehensive 2026 plan.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.
Required qualifications:
- Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
- Graduating August 2025 – May 2027
- Preferred fields include but are not limited to: Finance, Business, Data Analytics
- Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)
Proficiency and understanding of:
- PowerPoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Excel: Data management and analysis
- Experience with data and analytics, particularly using Power BI
Preferred qualifications:
- Capability to think strategically and orchestrate plans
- Skills in organizing and managing planning meetings
- Strong communication skills for developing and presenting plans and strategies
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Compensation
Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.
Hourly Based Pay Range:
Min: $22.00/hour
Max: $35.00/hour
Work Authorization
US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.
