Freedom Boat Club is an international leader in owning and franchising Boat Clubs since 1989. We have over 380+ franchise and corporate-owned boat club locations in operation throughout North America, Europe, and Australia. We are a fast-growing company and are looking for the right person to grow with us at a rapid pace, and one who embraces a dynamic environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and hard-working individual to join our Accounting Team! This role is responsible for processing a high volume of customer requests, in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, updating the records frequently.
- Process membership holds, cancellations, and refunds.
- Process new contract agreements.
- Resolve fuel discrepancies.
- Address and resolve billing inquiries.
- Follow established processes and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Manage a high volume of transactions and customer accounts.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting related work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed with ability to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional process changes.
- Must be well organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
- Must have a team player attitude.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Quickbooks Enterprise or Oracle experience is preferred.
