Finance Corporate Debt – Senior Associate/Counsel
Location: Atlanta, GA preferred. Other locations considered: Los Angeles, CA; Washington, D.C.; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Dallas, TX.
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a highly-qualified Senior Associate or Counsel to join their Corporate Debt team. While the Atlanta office is preferred, candidates from other locations will also be considered. This role is ideal for an attorney with significant experience in finance and corporate debt matters, including syndicated lending, secured transactions, and acquisition financings.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in Georgia or other jurisdiction as applicable.
- Experience with syndicated lending, secured transactions, acquisition financings (including cash flow and asset-based credit facilities), and high-yield debt offerings.
- Familiarity with cross-border engagements is a plus.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex finance and corporate debt transactions, including syndicated lending and acquisition financings.
- Advise clients on secured transactions and high-yield debt offerings.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys on cross-border finance engagements.
- Manage multiple transactions across a variety of industries, ensuring the successful execution of deals.
- Work closely with clients to provide strategic advice on corporate debt matters.
