Job Description:
Under the leadership of the Vice President of Operations, provides financial analysis for assigned areas, supporting executive and operational leaders. Provides support on financial related activities including, but not limited to, financial reporting, profitability, financial analysis, business plans and other financial information to support operations in the identification. Using financial tools, reviews trends and performs proactive analysis for medical specialties or physicians. Provides support for financial objectives and alignment with the company’s system operational and strategic goals and expectations.
Job Requirements:
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create and implement internal financial reporting packages to be used as the company’s key control associated with the reporting of actuals.
- Report and analyze financial results via data analysis, including key trends and variance analysis.
- Partner with other Accounting and Finance functions to drive process improvements, ensuring complete and accurate financials.
- Prepare and analyze gross and net revenue by physician.
- Work with Executive Leadership to develop proforma financial statements for New Ventures.
- Monitor financial systems to ensure data integrity and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and increase the value of financial activities.
- Work closely with reimbursement, decision support, contracting, supply chain, and operations.
- Analyze material costs, identifying improvements and inaccuracies.
- Assist with tax preparation forms.
- Prepare and record implant journal entries for monthly accounting purposes.
- Provide technical support to systems investigating significant or unusual variances, identifying improvements to current processes, reviewing and editing consolidated financial statements and regulatory compliance reports.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with controls over financial reporting.
- Prepare and develop Ad hoc reports as required.
- Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of accounting/finance experience
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
