Your key responsibilities
Advise and provide clients with strategic recommendations on Financial Services Risk Management issues facing the financial services sector, focusing on the identification, measurement, and management of Traded Products Risk and Capital. Focus on financial risk identification, measurement, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of exposures to interest rate, commodity, equity, credit, and foreign exchange movements. Provide strategic and tactical advice on the implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements such as Basel III, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), LIBOR transition, Uncleared Margin, and Comprehensive Capital Adequacy and Review (CCAR). Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently monitor progress and deliver quality client services. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Cultivate business development opportunities.
To qualify for the role
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the Financial Services industry.
Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of work experience in the Financial Services industry.
Must have 4 years of experience at a financial institution, a consulting firm, or a combination of both, all of which must be focused on at least one or a combination of the following:
- Capital markets
- Quantitative analytics
- Front office sales and trading
- Front office risk management
- Market risk
- Counterparty credit risk
Must have 4 years of experience in at least one or a combination of the following from front office or risk management related functions:
- Capital management and associated regulatory requirements with Basel III and FRTB, including market risk, counterparty credit risk, credit valuation adjustment (CVA), or stress testing;
- Derivatives product knowledge across asset classes including interest rates, credit, equity, commodity, and FX.
Must have 1 year of experience leading a team of professionals on financial services implementation projects within at least one of the following key US and global regulatory issues: Basel III market, counterparty credit, or CVA risk, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), SIMM or CCAR.
Must have 2 years of experience communicating with and presenting before senior level client employees.
Requires domestic and regional travel up to 60% to serve client needs.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $131,400 to $240,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $157,700 to $273,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
