Job Description
The Senior Associate – Financial Systems will be an integral part of our Yardi Team and responsible for the day-to-day operation of Yardi. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, comfortable with a team-oriented, high-volume environment, able to multi-task, and able to think critically to build and maintain the Real Estate Yardi stacks included in the Voyager and Elevate suites.
Essential Duties:
- Implement and maintain Yardi modules in Voyager and Elevate including developing standards, policies, procedures, and manuals to support training and operational processes.
- Work closely with accounting, asset management and leasing teams to problem solve complicated business processes and tracking of data based on end user and organizational requirements.
- Assist in solving day-to-day challenges with data and reporting including complex financial transactions; often building and testing update SQL queries.
- Design and build YSR reports to meet organizational needs.
- Create and maintain custom tables, buttons, and fields for various object types.
- Work with leasing teams as level 2 support for complex lease and recovery setups across industrial, retail, and office asset types.
- Maintain account trees, charts of accounts and segments.
- Monitor or build automated Yardi tasks and notifications to address various groups’ needs.
- Assist in developing integrations between Yardi source data and Ares management company.
- Remain up to date on Yardi enhancements and plug-ins and rolling out new functionality as needed.
- Build and maintain custom menus and permissions across several different security groups.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant Yardi experience in any of the areas: Voyager, ABF, Construction Manager, Facility Manager Commercial Café, Vendor Café and Vendor Shield, Forecast Manager, International, Pulse, and Multi-Family suites.
- Intermediate or greater SQL experience.
- Ability to build functions or procedures within SQL a plus.
- Experience in Avid, Argus or Jira a plus.
- A motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills is required.
- The ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment and meet challenging deadlines is critical.
- Requires the ability to self-manage, independently exercise professional and technical judgement, problem solve and take initiative.
- An aptitude for Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills required.
Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$90,000 - $110,000
