Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking an Investment Advisory Platform Senior Manager to support the ongoing development and management of our MyAdviceArchitect offering. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the competitive edge and growth of an award-winning advisory platform through roadmap strategy, enhancements, key projects, and monthly releases. Collaboration with internal departments such as operations, digital solutions, compliance, and research with external strategic partners is a critical component of this role.

What you will do:
Platform Development
- Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of the advisory platform in alignment with the company’s vision and strategy
- Communicate and work with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and expectations for delivery
- Manage platform enhancements from concept to launch, including documenting scope, managing requirements, assisting with prioritization, comprehensive testing, and facilitating the post-live transition to business as usual
- Prepare and present platform updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Act as an advisory platform subject matter expert on projects
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging industry trends
Platform Management
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and on-budget delivery of initiatives
- Manage customizations and issue resolution for advisors as well as internal departments such as compliance, digital solutions, and operations
- Collaborate across internal teams and business lines to identify, develop, and execute enhancements
- Assist in the creation of content for advisor-facing materials such as FAQs and job aids
- Support the consulting and sales teams in driving the adoption of the platform
- Develop reports, dashboards, and other illustrations to inform business decision-making
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve the platform experience
- Assist with the management of third-party vendor relationships including enhancement requests and issue resolution
What you need to have:
- Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university required
- 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry required
- Previous technical experience with Envestnet required
- Knowledge of the RIA landscape required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Initiative and desire to go above and beyond to deliver a first-class advisor experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure with tight and shifting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality; ability to work with different groups looking to accomplish varied objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solver who acts with professionalism when dealing with clients, business partners, and senior management
What is nice to have:
- Securities licenses (Series 7 and 66) preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
Compensation:
The base annual salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
