Senior Process Associate - Continuous Controls Assurance
BBS CCA SPA will conduct process walk-throughs, perform controls testing, and transactional audit, duplicate control testing for processes supported by BBS. The analyst would also maintain process documentation, as well as, perform other tasks to support the BBS Continuous Controls Assurance (CCA) program and other initiatives in the area of internal controls and process improvements, under the direction of the BBS CCA Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Support and facilitate the BBS CCA Program and other related initiatives from BBS.
- Perform data analytics to facilitate financial controls monitoring.
- Identify the process gaps that could have led to test results derived out of data analytics.
- Perform continuous transaction monitoring for AP, AR, and GA, as per scope.
- Perform duplicate audit for AP transactions.
- Track and follow completion.
- Timely completion of process documentation.
- Identify and document improvements in business process flow on a continual basis.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and share trackers on a daily and timely basis.
- Hold timely discussions within the team to increase the scope.
Responsible to unlock the business value linked to the commodity contract by flawless execution of at least 40+ vessels of around 20 Billion USD. Ensure Execution team is complying with SOX & Audit requirements under CON-0303, 08 & 09.
Quality Control:
- Completion of 100% allocated cases for QC on a daily basis as per scope.
- Timely completion of duplicate cases before the payment run.
Work Prioritization:
Prioritization of daily work as per critical nature of transactions/sorting basis criticality.
Role Development:
This is an individual contributor role and management/leadership skills are not mandated for this role. However, this role is to be developed as a 2 Tier within 2-3 years to replace the Team Lead Trade Execution. IDP’s should be assigned after confirmation on this particular role.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting concepts and process/controls related to Financial Reporting, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, Commodity Trading.
- Ability to provide high quality level of customer service for internal controls testing and other internal control initiatives.
- Ability to work independently (with limited supervision) and efficiently deliver high quality output.
- Strong communication (written and oral) & interpersonal skills.
- 1-2 years or more experience of financial data analysis and/or work experience within the area of Internal Audit or internal controls audit/review.
- Minimum Education Qualification: B.Com, M.Com or related credential in finance domain.
- Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
