Job Duties
Our client, an equipment manufacturer, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team. This is an on-site opportunity located in West Knoxville. The candidate will work with the company's controller and will supervise two members of the accounting/finance team. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and annual financial audits and review
- Preparing financial reports
- Compiling, reviewing and analyzing all accounting transactions and data
- Oversight and support of service and manufacturing operations
- Payroll processing
- Financial forecasting
- Cash management and bank reconciliation
- Providing support for month-end close, journal entries and general ledger analysis
Qualified Candidates Will Have The Following
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Master's degree is a big plus
- Ten years of progressive experience in an accounting role
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong Excel and ERP skills
