As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic Controller/CFO to lead our financial operations and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.
DMG Worldwide is an accounting firm that specializes in helping Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs with their Accounting and cash flow management needs. DMG provides accounting and tax, tax resolution, outsourced CFO, and advisory services.
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within a CPA or professional services environment. This position requires a proactive leader with a strong financial acumen and the ability to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement the firm’s financial strategy and long-term business plans.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including partners and board members, highlighting key performance indicators and financial insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate controls to safeguard the firm’s assets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Controller or CFO in a CPA or professional services firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial management software and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
- Proven ability in helping clients build more profitable operations.
What We Offer:
- Salary Range: $93,250.00 - $119,000.00 per year
