This position will provide the opportunity for team members to work on behalf of children, animals, social justice, education, and environmental issues as these critical areas of impact are all relevant in the fight against injustice in our homes, our communities, and our world.
The position will require team members to work in small groups to carry out community engagement projects – also known as street fundraising or canvassing – in search of financial support for these worthy causes. This position will be best suited for someone who recognizes themselves as a fundraiser, an advocate, and/or an awareness builder.
About You
As a fundraiser, you will engage and inspire people at a community level to support causes here at home and around the world.
An effective Fundraiser will be an excellent communicator, professional, outgoing, and a team player, have great active listening skills, and an exceptional customer service background.
You will be comfortable engaging with members of the public and have the ability to effectively communicate the plight of others in a way that moves members of the public to action. A genuine and ethical person who cares deeply about the issues that impact the world around them is an ideal candidate.
Compensation & Benefits:
