The Role:
The Quality Process Auditor is responsible to monitor the quality of products and processes in production areas to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. This includes product inspection, process verification, recording and documentation of results.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
- Conduct process audits and generate reports of findings.
- Help in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of audits findings, tracking to resolution.
- Perform in-process quality control tests in the QC lab and evaluate statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Train operational and quality inspectors on defect catalog and acceptance criteria.
- Generate NCRs if raw material is detected non-conformant.
- Provide direct support to production line problems to ensure product and process quality.
- Monitor and report metrics to meet business needs.
- Perform 5s+1 audits in the production area.
- Follow Quality Control Plan and OCAPs/escalation path.
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- May perform process capability measurements and in-process inspection measurements. May be required to facilitate Quality Alert meetings.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party regulatory audits.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
You bring:
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- Minimum two years related experience in quality, manufacturing operations or similar industry/environment and/or training.
- Proficiency in quality tools like 5 Whys, Ishikawa, SPC.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Great communication and computer skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, work instructions, and equipment manuals.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Language skills: English.
A PLUS:
- Lean or Six Sigma training.
- Advanced degree in technical or science related field.
- Certification in quality control or related field.
- Understanding of Material Failure modes, Gage R&R, and Capability Studies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.); MRP SAP experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
- Bilingual / Spanish.
