What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes, including journal entry preparation
- Prepare and review payroll entries for approval and posting
- Prepare accruals and other adjusting entries
- Perform expense review and reconciliation between ADP and GL
- Assist with external and internal audit activities
- Support acquisition activity related to payroll
- Assist in ad-hoc data analysis
- Collaborate with the Manager to drive process improvements and efficiencies
- Complete other accounting and payroll duties as assigned
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Intermediate-level experience using Excel
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a supportive and positive team member
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll System
- Previous payroll experience
