The Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the business through research, analysis, and recommendation of new business initiatives. This role also evaluates and analyzes all current processes and provides recommendations on improvements that can be made. The day-to-day responsibilities of a business development analyst include providing business development research, analysis, and reporting to their supervisor. Detailing research findings for management review and recommending improvements to all business processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for real-time analysis from a variety of data sources including but not limited to SAP (ER1 and EW1), Power BI, SharePoint, and Google Analytics.
- Analyzes DC operations with outside knowledge of Delivery, Depot, Customer Care, and Inventory processes to provide improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams throughout the company to define, design, and deliver robust integrated solutions that meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployment including training, change management, and communications.
- Communicates via e-mail, conference call, or in-person meetings with stakeholders regarding systemic updates and/or improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- High level written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a project through its entire life cycle.
- Proven leadership and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to hit deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of most Windows Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Advanced knowledge of DC/Delivery internal operations including Shipping, Receiving, Returns, Inventory Control, Delivery Ops, Customer Care, and Loss Prevention.
