Responsibilities
- Directly supporting the group Partner in managing close to $2b AUM.
- Maintain all in-house models & respective trading groups.
- Process model changes for internal fixed income strategies.
- Process trade tickets for daily investment, withdrawals & reallocation needs.
- Maintain cash flows for trading.
- Execute Fixed Income trades.
- Daily monitoring of cash flows and data integrity in client accounts.
- Assist with system maintenance and have a strong understanding of firm data flow.
- Monitor client advisor communication and take appropriate action for trading halts, restrictions, and overall account maintenance.
- Communicate daily with Operations, Reporting and Compliance teams.
- Complete ad hoc projects for portfolio managers.
- Work to identify any firm risk and to process errors.
- Work internally and externally on problem resolution and help streamline processes.
- Monitor corporate actions and confirm client accounts accurately reflect any changes.
- On a quarterly basis, assist in composites reporting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of working knowledge of Fixed Income securities.
- Strong work ethic, high attention to detail, dependable to complete tasks, and a responsible team player.
- Proactive, positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational/administrative skills and project oriented.
- Strong working knowledge of Bloomberg, and electronic trading platforms like MarketAxess.
- Proficiency with Advent – APX, Moxy, CTM and TradeSuite - highly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.

- Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure.
