As our Senior Revenue Accountant at R1 RCM, you will be responsible for assembling, consolidating, evaluating, interpreting and analyzing financial and accounting information. You will reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports. You will alert management to financial issues and inconsistencies and provide solution alternatives to moderately complex accounting problems. Additionally, you will generate planning templates for use in Financial Planning and Analysis; compile and evaluate fluctuations in projections and provide to management for consideration.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, corporate accounting, fixed and intangible assets, accounting with/for foreign subsidiaries and acquisition accounting.
Every Day You Will
- Conduct moderately complex accounting activities and participate heavily in the monthly close process.
- Evaluate existing processes and reconciliations for improvement. Implement efficient solutions and necessary process changes as identified.
- Work on smaller elements of large, complex accounting projects. Lead smaller, less-complex accounting projects.
- Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.
- Work closely with company-wide departments to ensure accounting information is represented accurately and timely.
- Exercise sound business acumen and judgment. Understand the financial operations of departments, divisions, and business units supported.
- Work to ensure internal controls are executed in compliance with the Company’s SOX program.
To Thrive In This Role Must Possess
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience required, with public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA, CMA, CIA, or master's degree preferred.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $52,972.00 - $66,215.00 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
