The Senior Financial Cash Analyst position is a part of the order to cash function within the finance operations team. This role's primary focus is on the research and resolution of unidentified cash deposits with an emphasis in the area of healthcare commissions.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Research and Resolution of Cash Deposits: Seek out information relating to unidentified payments and analyze large amounts of data in order to summarize and make conclusions. Contact healthcare carriers, reach out to business colleagues and utilize Workday financial applications (CAS system) to perform needed adjustments. This role is aligned to H&B as well as the Healthcare Exchange divisions and will require in-depth analysis of payments received and residing in suspense. Create reporting for management on demand.
- Provide Business Support: Answer inquiries via our H&B and CBS commission's group mailbox from business colleagues on order to cash processes and assist with issues related to cash application. Critically analyze client cash deposits and problem-solve situations related to cash misapplication. Drive processes related to CBS division year-end and future year policy creation.
- Miscellaneous AR and Workday Finance tasks: Responsible for interacting with both the business and AR team to clear open items. Initiating and receiving transfers from other business units via Workday for AR funds received in error and following up on their application in Workday.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business-related field
- Minimum 3 years of financial/analytical work experience
- Previous Workday experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable making telephone calls to external parties.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
- Demonstrated ability to work in a changing and developing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a matrix style organization and a team environment.
- Experience in a corporate finance shared services organization with an onshore and offshore team desirable.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
