Overview of Position:
The IT Business Analyst will support the Finance IT team by assessing and enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions for business needs. The IT Business Analyst will identify, define and support the delivery of processes and solutions within Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM), and our Business Intelligence platforms.
What you will do:
- You will help drive the identification and scoping of solutions.
- Assess and determine solution feasibility.
- Support the development of business/functional requirements.
- Work directly with development and other technology resources to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet agreed specifications and requirements.
- Identify and resolve project issues.
- Analyze complex business problems and determine an appropriate IT solution.
- Gather data and analyze business and user needs.
- Support projects by understanding business needs, opportunities, problems, impacts, risks, and presents and agrees to recommended solutions.
- Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
- Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support client's business goals.
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system.
- Work closely with managers and end users to determine the best IT solution.
- Conduct post-project evaluation.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with computer applications.
- Previous experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to create reports and offer recommendations.
- The ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to completion.
- Experience with Project Management methodologies such as waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with business process modeling.
Even better if you have:
- Experience in the Information Technology or Telecommunications industry.
- Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM).
